The Falls on the Yantic River
The Upper Falls
The Lower Falls
There's a story here that I think you'll really like, I just need some more time to write it!
In the meantime, I'll be at work for 16 very long hours both today and tomorrow (hopefully I won't diet pills to stay awake!). If I don't get around to visiting your blogs this weekend, I hope you'll understand and I promise to get around to everyone after work Monday evening - honest!
Everyone have a great weekend!

OOOH! Pretty!!!!
Gorgeous photos of the falls. Reminds me of the falls in the former
Humphreysville, present-day Seymour, named after good ol' David Humphreys. He had his woolen mill along the river.
A post idea! thanks, my dear
Can't wait for that Norwich story
I love anything with water.
You do real classy pictures, Linda.
Very pretty. Your photography is awesome Linda. I can so relate to your back to back 16 hour shifts. I so remember.
You try to have a great weekend too. Big hug. :)
Terrific photos as always! Survive your day...
So beautiful, Linda! We bet they make the most lovely sound, too!

Is that what's behind you in your profile pic? It is beautiful!
Nice pics, Linda! Love your profile pic, too! You & "Mrs. Bulldog" have that one big thing in common...you'd both rather be BEHIND the lens instead of in front! Funny thing is, I'll tell ya both - neither one of you make a bad photo...on either side! ;-)
Received... Linda... 1.9.0.6

Gahhhhhhhhhh!
Good luck, you are a better person then I.
Is this the Indian Leap Falls story?
Absolutely beautiful and so wild looking that you might almost have gone back a couple of hundre years. I hope there weren't too many emergencies on Thanksgiving.
Sigh....such a beautiful place! I told hubman how much I admire your photos and that there just weren't very many places here (close)that I'd want to photograph! I guess I'll have to be more imaginative.
Looking forward to the story!
~~~Blessings~~~
Beautiful. And very good photography to boot.
